January 15th, a Pelican Politics was distributed that highlights our 2025 advocacy priorities. At the top of our list is protecting credit unions tax-exempt status. This is going to be a major fight for us this year on both the federal and state level. While taxes are a major focus, protecting interchange fees, allowing new investment options, improving access to credit union services, and updating our state charter model bylaws are also being actively monitored and included in our 2025 advocacy priorities both on the state and federal level.
