Ascension Credit Union (ACU) hosted its 2025 Annual Meeting on April 16, 2025, at the Price Leblanc PACE Center. Among other agenda items at the meeting, the credit union proudly announced the recipients of its annual student scholarships to local high school students who demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement.
The scholarship recipients for 2025 include Maya Julien of Ascension Catholic, Abigail Jennings of Ascension Christian Academy, Javen Rodrigue of Donaldsonville High School, Kayden Roussel of Dutchtown High School, Sophia Tureau of East Ascension High School, Caroline Palmer of Prairieville High School, and Gracie Pray of St. Amant High School. These students were selected based on their commitment to their studies, their involvement in their schools and communities, and their potential to make a positive impact in the future.
Presenting the scholarships, Denise Graves expressed her admiration for the recipients, stating, “These students exemplify the values of dedication, resilience, and leadership that Ascension Credit Union is proud to support. We are honored to be a part of their journey as they continue their education and make a difference in their communities.”
