Post Office Employees Credit Union (POECU) proudly named Jody Brooks its 2024 Employee of the Year during their Annual Meeting on May 14, recognizing her outstanding leadership and drive in reshaping POECU’s overall member experience.
Jody joined POECU in the fall of 2023 as a contract employee, tasked with planning the credit union’s 100th Anniversary celebration. She not only coordinated a year-long campaign and Centennial reception like none other but also produced a commemorative video that showcased the legacy and future of POECU. Her success led to a full-time position as Director of Marketing & Business Development, where she has continued to exceed expectations. In her first year, she expanded POECU’s marketing footprint, modernized member communication channels, and ushered in the credit union’s first new SEG of the year.

Jody brings nearly two decades of industry experience. She has built a solid reputation in the financial industry through impactful collaboration and award-winning initiatives executed at the national level. As 2025 unfolds, Jody continues to strategize and execute campaigns that further modernize POECU’s member experience and strengthen the credit union’s presence in the community.
