LAFAYETTE, LA — May 18, 2026 — OnPath Credit Union officially marked its entry into the Lafayette market today with a successful groundbreaking ceremony for its new, full-service branch at 1820 Camellia Blvd. The event signifies a major milestone in the credit union’s strategic expansion across Louisiana, bringing its signature relationship-driven banking to the Acadiana region.
The afternoon ceremony brought together local officials, community leaders, business partners, including representatives from One Acadiana, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana, New Ground, and Lafayette Habitat for Humanity, as well as OnPath executives and board members. Equipped with traditional ceremonial shovels, attendees celebrated the start of construction on a facility designed to offer the Lafayette community a modern, comprehensive banking experience.
