BATON ROUGE, La. — Pelican Credit Union has promoted Chelsea Gstohl to Senior Vice President of Member Experience, the organization announced.
Gstohl began her career at Pelican as a part-time Marketing Representative while earning a degree in mass communications from Louisiana State University. She quickly demonstrated leadership by improving processes, elevating projects, and positively influencing team performance.
Gstohl is a Certified Credit Union Marketing Executive through America’s Credit Unions and has been recognized as an emerging leader by CURATE for Women and BAI. She has also served as president of Luminate’s Young Professionals Network.
In 2022, Gstohl was promoted to lead the credit union’s contact center, where she helped drive significant operational improvements. Under her leadership, the team reduced wait times, decreased reliance on backup call support, and improved overall efficiency. The structure and consistency she established contributed to measurable gains in member experience.
In her new role, Gstohl will oversee strategies and operations that enhance the overall member journey, with a focus on service delivery, efficiency, and continuous improvement across key touchpoints. She will continue to build on efforts to streamline operations, elevate service standards, and strengthen engagement across the credit union.
