New Orleans, LA — Campus Federal Credit Union proudly partnered with LSU Health New Orleans to support two exciting summer events that brought joy, refreshment and meaningful engagement to the university’s medical and dental communities.

Campus Federal joined the LSU Health New Orleans School of Dentistry for a festive afternoon featuring refreshing sno-balls from local favorite Stop Jockin Sno-balls. Faculty, staff and students gathered to enjoy a variety of delicious flavors, creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere to beat the summer heat. The event, sponsored by Campus Federal, was a sweet success and a great way to show appreciation for the hardworking dental school community.

In addition, Campus Federal was honored to sponsor the LSU School of Medicine New Orleans Office of Graduate Medical Education’s (GME) Onboarding Day. This vital event welcomed over 200 new house officers including interns, residents and fellows over a two-day period, ensuring a smooth transition from medical school to residency and fellowship training. With more than 270 house officers beginning their programs on July 1, the GME office played a crucial role in preparing them for the next phase of their medical careers. Campus Federal was proud to support this important milestone and to be part of the journey for the next generation of healthcare professionals.

“Campus Federal is deeply committed to supporting the LSU Health community,” said Janet Kratzberg, Business Development Officer at Campus Federal Credit Union. “Whether it’s through a fun summer treat or helping welcome new medical professionals, we’re honored to be part of these meaningful moments.”
