The EFCU Financial Foundation has awarded seven educators at public schools in the Greater Baton Rouge area with $500 grants through its new Teacher Classroom Grant program. Teachers applied for funding to support creative and impactful classroom projects, and recipients were selected based on their proposals.
Teachers from EFCU Financials’ nine-parish service area will be selected annually. This year’s grants, totaling $3,500, will support a variety of hands-on classroom projects, including financial education materials, iPads, science experiments, and more.

- Shontaye L. – Clinto Elementary School
- Nazzarrie R. – North Iberville Elementary School
- Laurie M. – French Settlement Elementary School
- Elika E. – Port Allen High School
- Teresa P. – West Feliciana Middle School
