The EFCU Financial Foundation partnered with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank to help families facing food insecurity during this past holiday season. Thanks to the generosity of credit union members and employees, along with matching contributions from EFCU Financial, the effort raised nearly $8,000 and collected 420 pounds of food.
Together, these donations provided more than 24,000 meals for families in need across the Greater Baton Rouge area.
“The holidays can be a difficult time for many families, and we wanted to make sure no one went without a meal,” said Tom Kuslikis, President and CEO of EFCU Financial. “We’re humbled by the generosity of our members and employees who turned compassion into action.”
This initiative reflects the EFCU Financial Foundation’s commitment to supporting local communities and addressing food insecurity.
