GNO Federal Credit Union is honored to announce the recipients of its 2025 Enola M. Fee Scholarships.

This year, four exceptional high school seniors were each awarded a $2,000 scholarship in recognition of their dedication to service, leadership, and the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.”

The 2025 scholarship recipients are:

GNO FCU was thrilled to award four scholarships this year, and even more moved by the heartfelt essays and incredible commitment to service each student demonstrated. Their words reflected a deep understanding of the credit union spirit — and a passion for making a difference in their communities.

“These students exemplify everything the credit union movement stands for,” said Shelley Sanders, President & CEO. “Their dedication to helping others is inspiring, and we are proud to invest in their futures.”

The Enola M. Fee Scholarship Program was created in honor of Enola M. Fee, a beloved board member who gave many years of dedicated service to GNO FCU and the greater New Orleans community.

Applicants are asked to submit personal essays reflecting how they plan to embody the credit union philosophy throughout their lives.

Although Stanley J. Wiltz IV was unable to attend the award presentation due to his baseball team’s participation in the state championship, his proud grandmothers attended on his behalf and accepted the scholarship.

GNO FCU extends heartfelt congratulations to John, Alexander, Stanley, and Elizabeth. We wish them continued success in college and in all the meaningful work we know they will go on to do.
