Meritus Credit Union recently awarded ten educators with $250 grants as part of their Teacher Grant program. The grants provide support for a diverse range of projects, including financial education programs, books, flexible seating, gym supplies, positive behavior incentives and more!
Meritus CU awards 20 grants each year to teachers in Acadia, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Martin and Vermilion parish who have unique educational initiatives. Meritus CU has awarded over $50,000 to teachers and their schools since starting the program in 2016.
