METAIRIE, La. – June 25, 2025 – OnPath Credit Union proudly announces the appointment of Thomas Aleman to the position of Executive Vice President (EVP)/Chief Experience Officer (CXO). This strategic elevation underscores OnPath Credit Union’s commitment to enhancing member and employee experiences across all facets of the organization.
In his role as EVP/CXO, Aleman is responsible for driving a holistic experience strategy that encompasses member journeys, employee engagement, and operational excellence. His leadership focuses on creating seamless, intuitive, and exceptional interactions that reinforce OnPath Credit Union’s dedication to its community.

Aleman brings a wealth of experience to this pivotal position. A magna cum laude alum of Loyola University New Orleans, he began his career in banking as a teller at Hancock Whitney Bank. He then advanced to JP Morgan Chase as a relationship banker before moving on to serve as a regional director for JMFA, a national consulting firm for bank and credit union executives. In that role, he led operations across Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi. His career trajectory continued as Assistant Vice President of Key Accounts at Corporate One Credit Union, where he focused on helping credit unions achieve their strategic goals.
Thomas joined OnPath Credit Union in 2022 as Senior Vice President of Growth, driving strategic initiatives and talent development. In September 2023, he was appointed Chief Administrative Officer, and in July 2024, he was named Chief of Staff, a role that further solidified his impact on the organization’s operational excellence and culture, leading to his current executive appointment.
Thomas Aleman is a Certified Credit Union Executive and a SHRM-Certified Professional, demonstrating his deep expertise in both credit union operations and human capital management. He recently received a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University, highlighting his commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
